Taxonomy
Sizilites was named by Toumansky (1937) [Sepkoski's age data: P Guad]. It is not extant. Its type is Adrianites affinis.

It was assigned to Goniatitida by Sepkoski (2002); to Pamiritellinae by Leonova and Bogoslovskaya (1990), Leonova (2002) and Korn (2006); and to Adrianitinae by Furnish et al. (2009).
