Taxonomy
Stylina kantoensis was named by Nishimiya and Yamagiwa (1973). Its type locality is Aoiwadani-Kosodegawa, which is in an Oxfordian/Tithonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kosode Formation of Japan.
