Taxonomy
Porites anguillensis was named by Vaughan (1919). Its type locality is USGS 6966, Crocus Bay, which is in a Burdigalian/Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/limestone in the Anguilla Formation of Anguilla.
