Taxonomy
Cyathomorpha anguillensis was named by Vaughan (1919). Its type locality is Road Bay, which is in a Burdigalian/Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/limestone in the Anguilla Formation of Anguilla.

It was recombined as Agathiphyllia anguillensis by Frost and Langenheim (1974) and López-Pérez (2005).
