Taxonomy
Echinalosia curtosa was named by Waterhouse (1986). Its type specimen is UQ F72740, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4819, Buffel Hill, Cracow Homestead, which is in an Artinskian coastal siliciclastic in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
