Taxonomy
Bandoproductus walkomi was named by Briggs (1998). Its type specimen is UQ F75301, a shell (Conjoined shell external mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L5108, Bimbadeen Lookout, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Rutherford Formation of Australia.
