Taxonomy
Cratispirifer nuraensis was named by Archbold and Thomas (1985). Its type specimen is CPC 24319, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR W34B, Mt. Wynne, Paradise Homestead, which is in a Sakmarian coastal sandstone in the Poole Formation of Australia.
