Mesosuchus browni
Taxonomy
Mesosuchus browni was named by Watson (1912). Its type specimen is SAM 5882, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Euparkeria site, Aliwal North, which is in an Anisian dry floodplain sandstone in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa.
