Portneufia episulcata
Taxonomy
Portneufia episulcata was named by Hoover (1979). Its type specimen is USNM 242051 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 1271-PC, Yandell Springs, which is in a Spathian carbonate limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho. It is the type species of Portneufia.
