Vex semisimplex

Taxonomy
Terebratula semisimplex was named by White (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 9344, John Gray's Lake (locality 1), Unit A, which is in a Spathian marine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.

It was recombined as Vex semisimplex by Hoover (1979) and Cooper (1983).
