Crittendenia kummeli
Taxonomy
Crittendenia kummeli was named by Newell and Boyd (1995). Its type specimen is AMNH 44039, a valve (Left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH B9075, Long Canyon, which is in a Smithian marine limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Crittendenia.
