Taxonomy
Rhabdomeson crockfordae was named by Kiseleva (1982). Its type specimen is PTGU 187/62 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bogataya River, Upper Chandalaz, Muravyeva-Amurskogo Peninsula, Primorye, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Chandalaz Formation of the Russian Federation.
