Taxonomy
Enteletes nucleola was named by Grabau (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jisu Honguer Limestone Undivided, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Zhesi Formation of China.

It was corrected as Enteletes nucleolus by Licharew and Kotlyar (1978).
