It was recombined as Spiriferina (Spiriferella) artiensis by Tschernyschew (1902) and Mansuy (1913); it was recombined as Spiriferella artiensis by Tschernyschew and Stepanow (1916); it was recombined as Paeckelmanella artiensis by Lee and Gu (1980) and Li et al. (1986); it was recombined as Spiriferinaella artiensis by Ustritsky and Chernyak (1963), Kalashnikov (1998) and Waterhouse (2004).
