Taxonomy
Gissocrinus voiseyi was named by Willink (1979) [Part and counterpart]. Its type specimen is AM F42008-42009, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boorook Township, 0.5 mile E, Zone D, which is in a Roadian coastal siliciclastic in the Drake Volcanics Formation of Australia.
