Taxonomy
Euconospira cryptolirata was named by Chronic (1952) [Syntypes]. Its type specimen is Mus N. Ariz G2.545, 547, a partial shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Bottomless Pits, Bed 9, Kaibab Formation, Walnut Canyon, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.
