Taxonomy
Glabrocingulum laeviliratum was named by Chronic (1952). Its type specimen is Mus N. Ariz G2.567, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rimmy Jim Tank, Kaibab Formation, Coconino County, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.
