Taxonomy
Paravolzeia timorica was named by Roniewicz et al. (2005). It is not extant. Its type locality is Saututun, Babulu Formation, Manatuto, East Timor, which is in a Carnian shallow subtidal limestone in the Babulu Formation of East Timor.
