Taxonomy
Moschowhaitsia vjuschkovi was named by Tatarinov (1963). Its type specimen is PIN 1100/20, a partial skull (lacking the otico-occipital region), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vyazniki Localities, PIN 1100, which is in a Vyatkian floodplain sandstone/claystone in the Russian Federation.
