Notospirifer darwini

Taxonomy
Spirifer darwinii was named by Morris (1845). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glendon (Strzelecki coll), which is in a Wordian coastal siltstone in the Muree Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Spirifera darwinii by Etheridge (1880); it was recombined as Notospirifer darwini by Harrington (1955).
