Etheripecten subquinquelineatus
Taxonomy
Pecten subquinquelineatus was named by M'Coy (1847). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harper's Hill, Hunter Valley (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in a Sakmarian coastal sandstone in the Allandale Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Deltopecten subquinquelineatus by Etheridge (1907), Laseron (1910), Etheridge (1915) and Grabau (1931); it was recombined as Aviculopecten subquinquelineatus by Reed (1932); it was recombined as Etheripecten subquinquelineatus by Waterhouse (1982).
