Sarytchevinella djulfensis
Taxonomy
Productus djulfensis was named by Stoyanow (1910). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Araxes River canyon, bed 5, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine marl in the Julfa Formation of Azerbaijan.
It was recombined as Compressoproductus djulfensis by Fantini Sestini (1965), Termier and Termier (1970) and Lee and Gu (1980); it was recombined as Compressoproductus dzhulfensis by Stepanov et al. (1969); it was recombined as Stepanoviella djulfensis by Liao (1980) and Wang et al. (1982); it was recombined as Sarytchevinella djulfensis by Waterhouse (1983), Yousefirad et al. (2013), Garbelli and Angiolini (2014) and Ghaderi et al. (2015).
