Taxonomy
Pseudocoenia breviseptata was named by Roniewicz (1976). It is not extant. Its type locality is Topalu 4, Dobrogea, Romania, which is in a Kimmeridgian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in Romania.

It was recombined as Adelocoenia breviseptata by Lathuilière et al. (2020).
