Hyparpadites was named by Spath (1951) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Ladi Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Arpadites liepoldti.
It was assigned to Arpaditidae by Spath (1951); to Protrachyceratinae by Tozer (1981); to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Paraceratitinae by Vörös (2018).
