Isculitoides was named by Spath (1930) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-u Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Isculites originis.
It was assigned to Paranannitidae by Spath (1934), Kummel (1969), Tozer (1981) and Tozer (1994); to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Paragoceratidae by Guex et al. (2010).
