Amplectobelua
Taxonomy
Amplectobelua was named by Hou et al. (1995). Its type is Amplectobelua stephenensis. It is the type genus of Amplectobeluidae. It was considered monophyletic by Vinther et al. (2014).
It was assigned to Anomalocardidae by Bambach et al. (2007); to Radiodonta by Daley and Budd (2010); and to Amplectobeluidae by Vinther et al. (2014), Lerosey-Aubril et al. (2020) and Pates et al. (2021).
