Gryphaeostrea kochiensis

Taxonomy
Gryphaeostrea kochiensis was named by Tashiro and Kozai (1982). Its type specimen is KSG 3056, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. M-03 - River Kajisako [Kajisako Fm], which is in a Turonian/Turonian coastal sandstone in the Kajisako Formation of Japan.
