Platyoposaurus stuckenbergi

Taxonomy
Platyops stuckenbergi was named by Trautschold (1884). Its type specimen is PIN 49/1, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Akbatyrovskii Mine, which is in an Urzhumian terrestrial sandstone in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Platyoposaurus stuckenbergi by Schoch and Milner (2000) and Shishkin et al. (2000).
