Leptoropha talonophora

Taxonomy
Rhipaeosaurus talonophorus was named by Chudinov (1955). Its type specimen is PIN 161/72, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shikhovo-Chirki, PIN 161, which is in an Ufimian/Kazanian deltaic limestone in the Pechishchi Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Leptoropha.

It was recombined as Leptoropha talonophora by Ivakhnenko (1987) and Bulanov (2003).
