Taxonomy
Orthoceras arcuolyratum was named by Teichert (1930).

It was recombined as Leurocycloceras foerstei by Teichert (1930); it was recombined as Striatocycloceras foerstei by Kröger and Isakar (2006); it was considered a nomen nudum by Kröger et al. (2011).
