Sacerdosoceras promus
Taxonomy
Sacerdosoceras promus was named by Evans (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMW 88.30G.201a-e, a shell. Its type locality is Priestweston Quarry, which is in an Abereiddian shoreface siltstone/sandstone in the Weston Flags Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Sacerdosoceras.
