Meekopinna sagitta

Taxonomy
Aviculopinna sagitta was named by Chronic (1952). Its type specimen is Mus N. Ariz G2.1300, a valve (Left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Bottomless Pits, Bed 9, Kaibab Formation, Walnut Canyon, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.

It was recombined as Meekopinna sagitta by Yancey (1978).
