Paradanubites was named by Shevyrev (1968) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-u Tr Anis-l Sepkoski's reference number: 302,1066].

It was assigned to Danubitidae by Tozer (1981) and Tozer (1994); and to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002).
