Kenyasaurus mariakaniensis
Taxonomy
Kenyasaurus mariakaniensis was named by Harris and Carroll (1977). Its type specimen is KNM-MA1, a partial skeleton (head, neck, most of the forelimbs and perhaps the most distal portion of the tail are missing), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Mariakani, which is in an Induan/Olenekian coastal sandstone in the Maji-Ya-Chumvi Formation of Kenya.
