Taxonomy
Euphemites crenulatus was named by Yochelson (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 119937, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM703, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
