Taxonomy
Polyporella rebarbensis was named by Reid (2003). Its type specimen is UTGD 127765 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is T3, Tunbridge Tier DDH Well, 266.4 m depth, which is in a Kungurian marine mudstone in the Weston Formation of Australia.
