Metalegoceras liratum
Taxonomy
Metalegoceras liratum was named by Zhao and Zheng (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 44601, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caijiawan, Pengjia Mb, Shangrao County, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Hutang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Pseudometalegoceras liratum by Leonova (2002) and Boiko et al. (2008).
