Taxonomy
Pseudokymatites was named by Spath (1934) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-u Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Kymatites svilajanus.

It was assigned to Meekoceratidae by Spath (1934), Kummel (1969) and Golubić (1999); to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Proptychitinae by Tozer (1981) and Ehiro et al. (2016).
