Taxonomy
Sakhaites was named by Vozin (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nm Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Xenaspis vronskyi.

It was assigned to Ophiceratidae by Tozer (1981); to Xenodiscidae by Dagis and Ermakova (1990); and to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002).
