Taxonomy
Inoceramus lundbreckensis was named by McLearn (1929). Its type specimen is Nat. Mus. of Canada 9037, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Inoceramus (Sphenoceramus) lundbreckensis by Scott et al. (1986).
