Taxonomy
Sirenotrachyceras was named by Krystyn (1978) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Ladi-u Tr Carn-l Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Protrachyceras hadwigae.

It was assigned to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Sirenitinae by Tozer (1981) and Urlichs (2017).
