Plesiadapis walbeckensis
Taxonomy
Plesiadapis walbeckensis was named by Russell (1964). Its type specimen is GH Wa287, a mandible (right mandible with I1, P4-M3 and alveoli for P3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Walbeck (Weferlingen), which is in a Selandian fissure fill sandstone/mudstone in Germany.
