Platychoerops daubrei

Taxonomy
Plesiadapis daubrei was named by Lemoine (1880). Its type specimen is MNHN Al-5156, a mandible (right mandible with I1, P3-4 and M1-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Platychoerops daubrei type locality, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial lignite in France.

It was recombined as Plesiadapis (Subunicuspidens) daubrei by Lemoine (1887); it was recombined as Platychoerops daubrei by Simpson (1929), Russell et al. (1967), Gingerich (1976), Boyer et al. (2012).
