Protanisoceras blancheti

Taxonomy
Ancyloceras blancheti was named by Pictet and Campiche (1861). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 9, Section 4 - Celendín [Crisnejas Fm], which is in an Albian carbonate shale in the Crisnejas Formation of Peru.

It was recombined as Protanisoceras blancheti by Benavides-Caceres (1956).
