Taxonomy
Eopsiloceras was named by Spath (1930) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nori-u Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Ammonites planorboides.

It was assigned to Monophyllitidae by Spath (1934); to Monophyllitinae by Wiedmann (1970); to Phylloceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Ussuritidae by Tozer (1981) and Yin et al. (2007).
