Kirkbya moorei
Taxonomy
Kirkbya moorei was named by Kellett (1933). Its type specimen is USNM 85452, a carapace (Left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Camp Funston, Geary County, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Wreford Formation of Kansas.
