Taxonomy
Clementia (Clementia) parinensis was named by Olsson (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Punta Parinas [Parinas Fm], which is in a Bartonian coastal sandstone/conglomerate in the Parinas Formation of Peru.
It was recombined as Clementia parinensis by van Regteren Altena (1941).
