Tellina (Miratellina) protolyra

Taxonomy
Tellina protolyra was named by Anderson (1929). Its type specimen is CAS 4163, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 267 (horizon M-N), Tubará Mtn [Tubará Fm], which is in a Miocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.

It was recombined as Lyratellina protolyra by Olsson (1961); it was recombined as Tellina (Miratellina) protolyra by Woodring (1982).
