Metalegoceras arcticum

Taxonomy
Parametalegoceras arcticum was named by Bogoslovskaya (1982). Its type specimen is PIN 3638/151, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Perovskiy, Collection 13800-3a, Novaya Zemlya, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Sokolov Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Metalegoceras arcticum by Furnish et al. (2009).
