Taxonomy
Parspaniocrinus beinerti was named by Strimple (1971). Its type specimen is SUI 34534, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Casa La Difunta, Las Delicias, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in Mexico. It is the type species of Parspaniocrinus.
